On behalf of the St. Maarten Cycling Federation and our generous sponsors, Sound 2000, NAPA Autoparts and Tri-Sport, we would like to invite you to the 2025 St. Maarten National Championship Individual Time Trial and Road Race on July 19th and 20th.
Categories
Though this event will be focused on selecting out top riders from Dutch Sint Maarten, the race will be open to all riders from any clubs and countries.
There will be three prizes awarded to the first three riders in each category as well as to the first St. Maarten cyclist in those categories.
Women Open
Men Elite (17-39)
Men Master A (40-49)
Men Master B (50-59)
Men Master C (60+)
Registration
Due to this race being a UCI sanctioned event, registration must be sent in before July 5th if you will be representing St. Maarten and by July 15th if you are riding for another country.

Courses
Both races start on the Airport Road between the Boat Yard (Red Cross) and the Causeway roundabout.
TT - riders start every 1 minute from 7am SHARP
Each cyclist will ride along the Airport Blvd towards the Maho Roundabout, then turn around and come back towards
Simpsonbay, crossing the Simpsonbay Bridge and following Welfare Road to the Kruijthoff Roundabout in Colebay,
where they will turn right and then continue up Cole Bay Hill, passing the Lookout Point (Harold Jack) and finishing at
the roundabout at the top of Brouwers Road near the Water Tank.
The Road Race - 7am
This event consists of all riders starting together on the Airport Road between the Red Cross building and the
Causeway.
Lap A - 19K x 1
Every cyclist will ride along the Airport Blvd towards the Maho Roundabout, then turn around and come back towards
Simpsonbay, crossing the Simpsonbay Bridge and following Welfare Road to the Kruijthoff Roundabout in Colebay,
where they will turn right and then continue up Cole Bay Hill, passing the Lookout Point (Harold Jack) and turn
around at the roundabout at the top of Brouwers Road near the Water Tank.
They will return to Colebay, descending Cole Bay Hill and turning right at the Kruijthoff Roundabout, and following
Union Road through Colebay until the Causeway. The riders will continue straight towards Bellevue, crossing the
Border and following the Bellevue Road until the roundabout at Home ‘n Tool, where they will turn around and return
along Bellevue Road until the Causeway. They will turn right at the Causeway roundabout, crossing the Causeway
and continuing on to Maho roundabout where they will turn around and finish that first lap at the Airport side of the
Causeway roundabout.
Lap B - 6.2K
Riders will then continue with laps between the Causeway Roundabout on the Simpsonbay side and the Maho roundabout.
Women/Master C - 1 x Lap A, 4 x Lap B - 43km
Master A/Master B - 1 x Lap A. 6 x Lap B - 55.6km
Elite Men - 1 x Lap A, 7 x Lap B - 62.2km
