Good day cyclists,
As we prepare to pedal in the 2026 cycling season, we will be having our first race for the year on Sunday, February 15th 2026.
Just before the races start, we will have a processional ride with all cyclists, competing or not, around the Mango Garden “Smurf” loop, passing his home in Deep Waters and back to the start finish line. This will be in memory of our fellow cyclist, Dwayne “Smurf” Baird.
The seniors’ race will go after the procession with the Island Harbour route:
Start at the James Ronald Webster Park west entrance, take a left at The Valley roundabout through The Farrington, East End, Island Harbour, Deep Waters, Little Dix, take a right at the Stoney Ground stop light, onto QEA and pass the start finish line.
It will be two laps for all seniors: Elite, Juniors, Masters A, Masters B, Masters C, Novice and U17.
The youth race will follow after the senior race with the “Smurf” route:
Start at the James Ronald Webster Park west entrance start finish line and take a left at The Valley roundabout, through The Farrington, up to Sandy Hill roundabout, through Mango Garden, take a left onto Deep Waters Road, Little Dix and take a right at the Stoney Ground stop light onto QEA and on to the finish line.
U15 two laps. U13 and U11 one lap.
