2016 Caribbean Mountain Bike Championship in St. Maarten

The best of the Caribbean meet for the annual Caribbean Mountain Bike Championship event to see who brings their island the glory!
This year’s event takes place for the first time in St. Maarten/St. Martin on the beautiful trails of Bellevue.

Categories are:
Elite Male & Female
Junior Male & Female

Registration: Federations must email their list of up to ten riders and two delegates to sxmcyclingfederation@gmail.com

Entry Fee: $100 per federation for Championship, $25 per person for Masters Race.

Distance: 6Km Lap
Elite Men – 5 Laps
Elite Women & Junior Male – 4 Laps
Junior Female – 3 Laps

198M Elevation Per Lap

Course description: Hard Packed singletrack, some rocky and root sections, steep climbs with some technical descents, passages and bridges.

Start Time: 9am for Elite Men, 9:03am Junior Male, 9:06am for Elite Women, 9:09am Junior Female

Accomodations: Will be provided for up to ten riders and two delegates from each participating island territory from September 23rd to September 26th.

Transportation provided: Pick up from the Airport and transfer to the Hotel. Return drop off at the Airport.

Meals provided:
Friday, September 23rd – Dinner
Saturday, September 24th – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
Sunday, September 25th – Breakfast, Lunch

Friday, September 23rd:
7pm Teams arrive and meet for Dinner at the hotel’s Conference Hall

Saturday, September 24th
7am Breakfast
9am Training Ride to Discover the Course at the Race Start
1pm Lunch at Hotel
3pm Training Ride to Discover the Course at the Race Start
6pm Team Presentation, Technical Meeting and Dinner at Hotel Conference Center

Sunday, September 25th
6:30am Breakfast
8:00am Transportation to Race Start
9:00am Race Start for Elite Men
9:03am Race start Junior Males
9:06am Elite Women Start
9:09am Junior Female Start
12:30pm Lunch Buffet at Race Course
1:30pm Prize giving Cermony at Race Course
2:30pm Start for National Masters Race
4pm Transport back to Hotel
6pm Dinner at Hotel

Monday, September 26th
6:30am Breakfast
Throughout the morning Transport to airport
